Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge Field Trip – Registration Opens September 18, 2022 at 7:30pm

We’ll look for migrant ducks and various passerines in this “get to know Iroquois in autumn” trip. This trip is a combination of driving and walking and includes a boardwalk, forest trail, and dirt road.

Annual Meeting and Elections via Zoom with Speaker Paul Bannick – “The Owl and the Woodpecker” – Thursday, January 13, 2022

We will have an encore presentation by Paul Bannick, who was so well attended last month that we quickly reached our Zoom capacity and many people could not get in to watch his presentation. This will not be a repeat of his December talk, but a new presentation, “The Owl and the Woodpecker.”

Hamlin Beach State Park Field Trip – Registration Opens March 12, 2022

We will gather at Braddock Bay Park and drive to Hamlin Beach State Park where we will look for waterfowl. Driving back east, we will look through fields for migrant waterfowl and lingering winter field birds. We will stop at Owl Woods in search of migrating owls.

Hamlin Beach State Park Field Trip – Registration Opens March 13, 2021

We will gather at Braddock Bay Park and drive to Hamlin Beach State Park where we will be looking for migrating waterfowl as we work our way back east.  We will stop at Owl Woods in search of migrating owls.
