On the east-side, Powder Mills Park is a mature woodland park that can be productive for many species of late migrating or nesting warblers and other songbirds; Blue-winged Warbler, Baltimore Oriole, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, and Scarlet Tanager have all nested there.

The trip will continue on to the Auburn Trail, which recent reports suggest is still likely to offer a good mixture of warblers, sparrows, and other migrants and nesting birds even after reconstruction.

Meet at the Powder Mills Park Fish Hatchery parking lot on Park Road at 7:30 a.m.
