Chance to Win Signed Hirata Wood Duck Print at Saturday’s Winter Dinner

Are you joining us for this weekend’s winter dinner?

We hope so, as there will a chance to go home with a lot of goodies, thanks to RBA member Don Traver donations from his and Donna’s collection.

Donated by Don Traver, this beautifully framed print of a pair of Wood Ducks entitled “Autumn’s Quiet Glow” will be raffled off at the annual RBA dinner this Saturday evening. Raffle tickets will be $5 each or 5 for $20. The print is number 19 of 75 produced in 1989, and is signed by the artist, Thomas Hirata. The value of the print has been appraised at $200. All proceeds from this raffle will be split between the Rochester Birding Association, Braddock Bay Bird Observatory and Braddock Bay Raptor Research at Don’s request.

The drawing will be held toward the end of the evening Saturday.

We are also selling a number of high quality books and field guides for primarily North, Central and South Americas. Please bring CASH to purchase these books.  They will range in price from about $1-10.  Proceeds go to RBA, BBRR, and BBBO.  A list of available books can be found by downloading this excel file: Traver Book Inventory_N,Central,S America for Public
