The RBA will resume its field trip schedule on a trial basis through August, with new policies and procedures in place to protect the safety of participants and to ensure compliance with NYS guidelines.

The most important change is that pre-registration for the trip is required for all participants.  Details on how to register are found on the trip listing on both our website and on facebook.  For reference, here is the complete list of our COVID-19 field trip guidelines:

Please Wear a Mask! The RBA recommends that birders wear protective masks in the field during the COVID-19 pandemic. Even when we are not on organized field trips, birders often congregate closely while viewing birds, especially when there’s a rarity to see. In our excitement over a sighting, it’s easy to forget to maintain social distance.
