Return to Warden's Grove: Research on Harris's Sparrows in the Canadian Arctic

Speaker: Chris Norment, PhD

Chris will present a slide show on Harris's Sparrows and his research, followed by a reading from his recent book, "Return to Warden's Grove: Science, Desire and the Lives of Sparrows."

Chris is a Professor in the Department of Environmental Science and Biology at SUNY Brockport. His area of expertise is in Vertebrate Ecology and Conservation Biology: particularly the ecology of birds and mammals; avian breeding biology, and community structure and function; grassland ecology; ecology of arctic and alpine environments.

Also Chris' student Nate Grosse will be coming to talk briefly about his research, which was funded in part by a RBA grant.
